This article explores the precautionary measure of warning within the framework of International Humanitarian Law as applied to the israeli-palestinian conflict, analyzing its conceptual framework, function, effectiveness, and the challenges hindering its effective implementation, particularly those arising from the increasing urbanization of armed conflicts. Through a qualitative methodology, the study first examines the concept of precautionary measures and then focuses on the warning measure, assessing the legal and practical obstacles that limit its application, which falls upon the offensive party in the conflict. The article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the feasibility and challenges of implementing warnings as a precautionary measure, using the israeli-palestinian conflict as a case study, and emphasizing the need for a more effective framework for its implementation.
