The impact of global warming on the rights of the child. A perspective from Internatinal Law

This paper analyzes the impact of global warming on the rights of the child from the perspective of International Law, drawing primarily on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child of 1989. The article demonstrates that all the rights in the convention are affected by climate change, including not only those rights that cover basic needs but also the rights that link the child to a family and to a State, such as their right to participate and the special rights that children enjoy under the convention.
